The procurement of a full-body scanner for Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is a key activity under the Project for Strengthening Capacity of Border Control for Responding to Infectious Diseases in Southwest Asia. This initiative, implemented by IOM Sri Lanka, aims to enhance the operational capacity of Sri Lanka Customs to detect concealed items efficiently while ensuring smooth and non-intrusive passenger screening.
