The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO is seeking to recruit a national consultant (trainer) to prepare and deliver training sessions on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practices in construction sites for the local contractors, workers, and government institutions in Kassala state. The PROSPECTS project will engage local contractors from Kassala state. Each contractor will recruit local workers (host communities and refugees) from the vicinity of the project areas and implement the labour-based methods of construction work. The contractors will select the construction workers under the guidance of the ILO. At the onset of the construction work, there will be a need for additional and practical on-site training on OSH principles for the contractors, workers as well as representatives from the partner institutions. After this OSH training, the implementing partner will provide day-to-day supervision of the contractors on site in the adherence to the OSH principles. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
