In Thailand, UNODC is assisting the Government in establishing a Specialized Cyber Scam and TIP for Forced Criminality Taskforce (CS-TIP FC Taskforce), led by the Royal Thai Police, to address trafficking victims forced into online scams and financial fraud in the region. Many victims trafficked into compounds in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Lao PDR, face coercion, violence, and threats, with limited protection upon escape. The consultant will draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to define the Taskforce’s mission, goals, and procedures, aligned with Thai law and international standards.
