As part of the implementation of desert locust surveillance and control activities, it is planned to procure a set of technical equipment including GPS units, anemometers, chronometers, compasses, magnifiers, psychrometers, and tally counters. These items are intended to strengthen the operational capacities of national teams involved in field operations, particularly for data collection, navigation, monitoring of weather conditions, and support to survey and control activities. The procurement is carried out under the relevant projects and in compliance with the required technical specifications and international standards.
