The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Office for East Africa (UNODC ROEA) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the Supply and Installation Services for Solar PV Back-up in various Law Courts in Kenya UNODC ROEA is looking to procure a company for the supply and installation services of solar PV power for Kenya's prison service under the Program for Legal Empowerment and Aid Delivery in Kenya (PLEAD II). The installation of this solar PV plant will aim to establish a 28.08kwp solar power generation at the station, addressing the station's power issues by harnessing solar energy for clean and sustainable electricity generation as a backup to the existing facility supply. The scope of design and delivery of the Solar includes: • Procuring and supplying all necessary equipment, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and associated accessories. • To ensure quality products are delivered as per the specifications defined in the BOQ. • Manufacturer’s serial number for all goods supplied must be provided in the delivery note. • Installation of solar PV systems and standalone solar flood lights in strategic locations within the Prison premises. • Integration of the solar PV backup system with existing power infrastructure and backup systems. • Testing and commissioning the installed solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality. • Providing training to prison staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the solar PV backup systems. • Submission of comprehensive documentation, including system manuals, warranty information, As-built drawings, Signed Delivery Note and serial Numbers of all items delivered on-site The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
