UNDP Seychelles Description of the Assignment:  UNDP Seychelles Office is seeking the services of a National Consultant to be responsible for the identification, Assessment and Reform of Biodiversity-related Subsidies and Incentives in Seychelles The consultant will collaborate with relevant ministries and stakeholders including private sector and civil society organisations.The consultant is expected to apply a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. This will include desk-based policy and budget review, data analysis of public expenditure and tax incentives, stakeholder consultations, and the application of internationally recognized frameworks for assessing subsidies harmful to biodiversity. The methodology should ensure transparency, replicability and alignment with GBF Target 18 and NBSAP guidance. Period of assignment/services: 50 days worked over a period of 5 months Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal.
