Call for Expression of Interest: National Consultant (Macroeconomist)   A National Consultant to conduct Macroeconomic Diagnostic for Jobs, Social Protection, and Just Transitions in Nepal  Project Title Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transitions (GA-JSP) Purpose To provide a comprehensive macroeconomic diagnostic study for guiding policies that will promote job creation and strengthen social protection to support the implementation of the Nepal LDC Graduation Smooth Transition Strategy and better understand options to achieve the goals of the STS. Work Duration                                               Total 50 workdays from 15 April  to 30 July 2025 Deadline for Submission 24 March 2025 The ILO Country Office for Nepal is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified individual consultant to conduct a comprehensive macroeconomic diagnostic for jobs, social protection, and just transitions in Nepal. Candidates intending to submit an expression of interest must provide the following information/documents: A description of how the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience are relevant to the required qualifications of this assignment. A list of previous studies or analyses conducted that are relevant to the context and subject matter of this assignment. A statement confirming the availability of the candidate to conduct this assignment and the daily professional fees. (The cost of travel and DSA for fieldwork within the scope of this assignment, as deemed necessary, will be provided by the ILO as per its rules and regulations.) A copy of the candidate’s CV. Two recent reports or analyses authored as a team leader or team member as per the application. A statement confirming that the candidate had no previous involvement in the implementation of the project to be reviewed or has no personal relationship with any of the ILO officials engaged in the project. The names of two referees (including email addresses) who managed the studies or analyses mentioned in point #2 above.
