Heavy-duty machinery, such as boilers, compressors, and industrial lifts, is crucial in industries such as garment, chemical, plastic, and engineering sectors. However, improper use, inadequate maintenance, and the absence of standardised procedures pose significant occupational safety and health (OSH) risks. Addressing these risks requires a thorough assessment and the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve safety and support Ministry of Labour (MoL) in inspections.
