ITB_003_2025_Construction of four flood evacuation shelters in Champhone, Xonabouly, and Songkhone Districts, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR.BIDDING SCHEDULE Launching bidding/invitation for bidding: 15 August 2025 Pre-bid Meeting for bidders: 22 August 2025 at 14:00 https://undp.zoom.us/s/85760868701                                                                                                                                 Deadline for submitting requests for clarification: 10 September 2025Deadline for Bid Submission: 21 September 2025                                                                              Estimated Contract Award: 15 October 2025                                     Summary of RequirementsThe scope of work generally includes excavation and filling works of all structures designed according to the excavation plan, construction of evacuation shelters, which includes structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical works detailed with drawings and technical specifications; preparation of As-Built drawings at the end of the work; submission of material test reports; completion of temporary acceptance deficiencies, completion of all repair, correction and reconstruction works that arise after the provisional acceptance until the final acceptance date and deemed necessary by the Engineer; and obtaining the necessary permits, documents and licenses for construction work.It specifically includes the following items as detailed in the Specifications, Drawings, and Bill of Quantities and in accordance with the requirements of the local authorities: 1.     Flood evacuation shelter– A flood evacuation shelter with the required size, comprising Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works as well as Mechanical, Electrical and Pump (MEP) systems. The supply and installation of machines and equipment is excluded from this scope. ·       Structural Works: This includes the construction of foundations, reinforced concrete structures, slab-on-ground flooring, and a steel truss roofing system, as appropriate. ·       Architectural Works: This includes clay brick masonry, roofing sheet with insulation as well as the installation of windows and doors as given in the engineering designs. 2.     External work         I.         Toilet and septic tank      II.         Kitchen      II.         Water tank (elevated & underground) with pump system     III.         Erosion protection     IV.         Drainage works      V.         Electrical work     VI.         Fence and gate   VII.         Road work Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
