1. The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) current fleet comprises over 1,000 vehicles, trailers, and attachments distributed throughout Somalia and Kenya. This includes, but is not limited to, Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs), Civilian Armored Vehicles (CAVs), various categories of trucks, 4x4 utility vehicles, Engineering Plant Equipment, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Specialized vehicles, and small maritime craft. 2. The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) requires to engage contarctor to provide services to support its fleet repair, maintenance, and fleet operational management needs. The fleet comprises Toyota, Nissan, Ford, Iveco, Scania, Volvo, Renaults and other specialized vehicles (APCs, such as SISU’s, Mamba, MK3, Caspir ...etc., Fire fighting vehicles, MHE etc.). The range of services includes, but is not limited to: • General maintenance and repairs • Vehicle body repair services • Electrical repair services • Vehicle diagnostics (both On-Board and Off-Board) • Spare part management • Fleet, asset and dispatch management. • Carlog management, • Vehicles and equipment drivers and operations services 3. The service locations are within UNSOS, UNTMIS, and AUSSOM camps and forward operating bases (FOBs) throughout Somalia and in Kenya (Nairobi & Mombasa). New locations may be addedd as requirement emerged. 4. The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) intends to engage a qualified contractor for the provision of Third-party contract for repair & maintenance and fleet management services in Somalia and Kenya. The contract will be awarded for an initial period of one (1) year, with four (4) optional one-year extensions (1+1+1+1) subject to satisfactory performance and operational requirements. 5. The detailed scope of work will be included in the solicitation documents, which are expected to be issued in the second week of February 2026. 6. UNSOS anticipates establishing the contract(s) by June 2026. Specific Requirements/Information The vendor must be registred in UNGM Level-2 at the time of awarding.
