UNFPA is the United Nations reproductive health and rights agency that leads in delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. UNFPA South Africa is committed to advancing digital self-care approaches for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) to improve access, autonomy, and continuity of care—particularly among adolescents and young people (AYP). The National Department of Health in South Africa recently welcomed the arrival of the first batch of HIV Prevention Medicin- Lenacapavir, which consists of 37 920 doses. This medicine will boost the country’s efforts to reduce new HIV infections.
