The project integrates gender equality and women’s empowerment as a core component to ensure inclusive and sustainable outcomes.To support these efforts, UNDP seeks to engage a National Consultant to strengthen gender-responsive approaches in ecosystem restoration initiatives and promote women’s leadership and participation in restoration-related activities and livelihoods.  Scope of WorkThe consultant will support the project to strengthen institutional capacities, deliver gender-responsive training activities, facilitate engagement with stakeholders including women’s groups and private sector actors, and contribute to knowledge generation through development of a policy brief on best practices for women’s leadership in ecosystem restoration.ObjectiveThe objective of this consultancy is to strengthen gender-responsive approaches in ecosystem restoration initiatives by enhancing capacities of project partners and stakeholders, and supporting women’s participation and leadership in restoration and livelihood activities.Period of assignment/services: 60 working days The proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than the indicated deadline.Please send any request for clarification in writing via the messaging functionality in the portal.
