The UN may have an requirement to establish a contractual arrangement with an Air Operator(s) who has the capacity to provide with a dedicated light to medium aircraft for passenger services in support of the United Nations Support Office for Haiti (UNSOH) and other UN Agencies/Offices as follows: 1. One (1) Jet or Turboprop Fixed Wing Multi-engine Aircraft, to be used throughout Haiti with flights into Santo Domingo-Dominican Republic. The operating area could include other near surrounding countries as: Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Panama, etc. 2. Air transportation services to be performed shall mainly include VIP and passenger transport. 3. Main Operating Base (MOB): Port au Prince – Haiti. At MOB, transportation, accommodation and meals shall be the Carrier’s responsibility. 4.The aircraft, among others, must meet the following general technical criteria: - Use Jet A-1 fuel. - Minimum Service Ceiling of 20,000 feet MSL. - Minimum passenger seating capacity of 19. (85 kg each + 15 kgs of luggage each -10 kgs checked-in & 5 kgs hand luggage). However, proposals offering aircraft with larger seating capacities are also welcome and will be duly considered. - Aircraft must be capable of flying from Port au Prince-Haiti to Santo Domingo-Dominican Republic without refuelling plus reserves for IFR diversion. - Aircraft should be equipped with VHF, ACAS, FDR, EGPWS, Weather Radar, ELT, Radio Altimeter, etc. - Aircraft should be equipped with HF or Two-way satellite-based communication (text/voice). - Estimated required number of flight hours (not guaranteed): 50 hours/month. Submit a copy of a valid Air Operator Certificate (including Operations Specifications) to be provided by email attached to this RFI Response iii. If you can provide Medevac services (AMET) submit the relevant approvals/certificates. iv. Submit Level 2 registration application and all documents required to register as an Air Operator to the UN Procurement Division as soon as possible, and prior to any contract award.
