The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking offers for to establish LTA for the Provision of office maintenance services at the WHO Country Office in Cairo, Egypt for the period of one year renewable subject to supplier performance, market prices and aviaalblity of funds. Your ☒ Company ☐ Institution is invited to submit a proposal for the services in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP). WHO is a public international organization, consisting of 194 Member States, and a Specialized Agency of the United Nations with the mandate to act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work. As such, WHO is dependent on the budgetary and extra-budgetary contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are, therefore, requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet WHO requirements, while ensuring a high level of service. 1. Requirements WHO requires the successful bidder, to carry out The maintenance and inspection services will be provided for the WHO Country Office premises in Egypt, as detailed below: • Premises Covered: • Main Office: Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) Building – Ground and First Floors, Downtown Cairo. • Support Office: Garden City Building – 13th Floor, Cairo. 1. CCTV Surveillance System • Locations: Installed at both the Main Office and the Support Office (13th Floor), including cameras and Digital Video Recorders (DVRs). • Maintenance Frequency: At least one visit every two months during the Long-Term Agreement (LTA) period. • Quantities: • Main Office: 8 units (5 cameras and 1 DVR on the Ground Floor; 3 cameras on the First Floor). • Support Office: 5 cameras. • Service Requirements: • System Operation: Verify that the CCTV system is fully functional and ensure all cameras are clean and unobstructed. • Recording Status: Confirm active recording functionality. • Recording Retention: Verify that footage is retained for at least one month. 2. Door Access Control System • Location: Main Office. • Maintenance Frequency: At least one visit every two months during the LTA period. • Quantities: 2 doors equipped with access control systems. • Service Requirements: • Magnetic Locks: Confirm proper operation of all magnetic locks. • Access Control Functionality: Verify the system is functioning as intended. 3. Fire Alarm System • Location: Main Office. • Maintenance Frequency: At least one visit every two months during the LTA period. • Service Requirements: • Smoke Detectors: Clean detectors and remove dust. • Detector Sensitivity: Review and report on detector sensitivity. • Output Circuits: Test all output circuits (bells, sirens, flashers, etc.). • Manual Call Points: Inspect all manual call points. • System Status Report: Submit a monthly written report on system performance. • Control Panel: Inspect the main control and microprocessor units. • Loop Cards: Verify functionality of loop cards controlling devices and detectors. • Power Supply: Check the power supply unit and battery charger.
