United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON ) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Egypt hereby invites qualified firms to submit their Expressions of Interest to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of low-cost, sewage treatment plant of a capacity of 300m3/day catering to 2000 residents, including operational and manintenance manual and training component at Ezbet Khamees Village, Faraskur, Damietta Governorate, Egypt, with the intention of establishing a successful replicable model. UNON invites companies to express their interest for pre-qualification, by filling out the vendor response form as well as providing the relevant pre-qualification documents and submit to

The EOI submission should state the EOI reference number and title in the subject header The brief scope includes, but is not limited to the following works: • Conducting site assessment and preparation of an inception report, detailed timeschedule, material delivery schedule, mobilization plan and a full set of detailed designs. • Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a minimum 300m3/day wastewater treatment plant solution on a landplot of approx. 412m2, including civil works. . Supply of 2 submersible raw sewage lifting pumps with a minimum flowrate of 31 m3/hr each. • Supply of 2 submersible treated sewage disposable pumps with a minimum flowrate of 12.5 m3/hr, and a force main pipeline with approximate length of minimum 110 m (including minimum 40m trenchless road crossing). • Installation of above components and any other mechanical, electrical and civil components as stated. • Carry out the stated pre-commissioning tests and post-commissioning tests. • Provide copies of the Operations and Maintenance manuals for the system as installed including as built drawings and machinery layout plans both in soft copy and hard copy. • Conduct detailed training for the water and wastewater staff covering the aspect provided.
