Background Portable, accurate and precise height/length measurement tools are needed to support regular UNICEF programming as well as anthropometric data collection in the field. This includes surveys such as Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) as well as child growth monitoring, management of wasting (acute malnutrition) and core paediatric care activities; all in support of UNICEF nutrition and health programmes. Previous reviews of household survey data quality have shown that the current techniques and devices used to measure height and length of infants, children and adults may not produce accurate results. Purpose of this REoI UNICEF is seeking expressions of interest from qualified manufacturers or solution providers for the supply of an innovative “3-in-1 tool” for child anthropometric measurement. This REoI is issued to identify capable partners for potential procurement collaboration in line with the Target Product Profile (TPP): for Tools for Anthropometric Tools (see attached). Ideally, solutions already on the market are discovered, and the purpose of the REoI is to collect detailed information on where and how the product is able to meet the requirements listed in the TPP. As a secondary purpose and if no ready-made product is available, UNICEF is scouting for interested and committed partners to engage into an R&D and co-creation project aiming at answering the unmet need. Following receipt of REoI confirmations and subsequent screening of replies, UNICEF is aiming to arrange an online industry consultation where we would like to take the opportunity to further explain this project and our goals, as well as engage with suppliers, entertain questions, comments, and suggestions. We will reach out on the online industry consultation separately. Procedure for submission of REoI Interested parties are requested to review the TPP and complete and submit the REoI survey form (link provided in the TPP document attached) along with relevant supporting documents to
