LRPS-2025-9199459 Design and Execution of a Healthy Lifestyle event for the 2025 UNICEF World Children’s Day

ProcureProcess - UNICEF Others Non Governmental 2025-08-27 to 2025-09-15
UNICEF is seeking an institutional contractor to support the conceptualization, design, and execution of the 2025 World Children’s Day live event in Thailand, with a thematic focus on “Healthy Lifestyle – Beyond the Bites”, under the broader nutrition-centered WCD 2025 campaign.     Background   World Children’s Day (WCD) is celebrated globally each year on 20 November to commemorate the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in 1989. It serves as a key moment for UNICEF and partners to advocate for, promote, and celebrate children’s rights, and to amplify the voices of children and young people in shaping a better future.   In Thailand, UNICEF will mark World Children’s Day (WCD) as a nationwide moment to engage children, youth, communities, stakeholders, and staff in meaningful, inclusive, and inspiring activities. For 2025, the campaign will center on the theme of “Healthy Lifestyle,” building on the TCO primary campaign Kin Rai Dee, to position UNICEF as a leading voice on child nutrition while raising awareness about the importance of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and access to safe, nutritious food as a fundamental right for every child. In support of this, a live event will be launched to bring together partners, universities, and the public, inspiring collective action to ensure every child in Thailand has the opportunity to grow up healthy and strong.     Objectives, Purpose & Expected results   UNICEF is seeking an institutional contractor to support the conceptualization, design, and execution of the 2025 World Children’s Day live event in Thailand, with a thematic focus on “Healthy Lifestyle – Beyond the Bites”, under the broader nutrition-centered WCD 2025 campaign.   Under UNICEF’s main concept design, the contractor will be responsible for co-developing compelling, brand-aligned engagement activities focused on nutrition and healthy lifestyles, coordinating with multiple partners, and overseeing all logistics to ensure smooth execution and event experience. The event should feature interactive and child and youth-friendly elements that inspire public participation and foster meaningful connections between UNICEF and supporters on the ground.   This year’s WCD campaign aims to raise awareness on the importance of nutritious, safe, and sustainable diets for children and young people, while promoting opportunities for the public to contribute to UNICEF’s ongoing mission to ensure children’s access to nutritious food. This live event is envisioned as a flagship public activation that translates the campaign’s core messages into tangible experiences, engaging young people through creative and participatory activities aligned with UNICEF’s core mission.   By bringing together diverse stakeholders — including government agencies, private sector partners, universities, and youth networks — the event will help to raise awareness on healthy lifestyles and nutritious food, build alliances with like-minded partners, and inspire action. It will also contribute to elevating UNCIEF’s visibility as a trusted voice on child nutrition in Thailand. Through engaging activities, facilitation, and partner coordination, the contractor’s role will be instrumental in ensuring that World Children’s Day 2025’s live event is both impactful and emotionally resonant, contributing to UNICEF’s brand-building goals and expanding its community of informed, engaged supporters.     Description of the assignment   Under this assignment, the awarded contractor will be responsible for the complete design, coordination, and on-ground execution of a half-day event, tentatively scheduled for early November 2025 (specific dates to be confirmed).
