The UNESCO Regional Office in Havana is committed to the environmental policies recommended by UNESCO headquarters in Paris. It aims to adopt renewable energy sources for self-sufficiency and environmental stewardship. To achieve this, the Office plans to acquire a hybrid Solar Generation System that meets its minimum electrical energy needs while complying with national regulatory standards.
