No Travel requiredDuration of Assignment: Tentative June 2025 to October 2025 for maximum of 45 working daysUNDPs Governance and Peacebuilding Team in Bangkok aims to conduct research on the current state of judiciaries in Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka, identify good practices and gaps, and provide recommendations for reform and capacity building efforts. The research will focus on the legal and institutional frameworks for judicial independence, appointment and disciplinary processes for judges, judicial ethics and accountability mechanisms, and public perceptions of the judiciary.
