The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking for potential vendors for its requirement for the inland transportation services within Afghanistan on “as and when required basis” The United Nations Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) intends to establish a contract based on fixed prices for the provisoin of Inland Transportation Services to transport cargo, on and as-required basis, between its offices within Afghanistan. The contractor shall provide reliable and suitable inland transportation to perform the required services. It is anticipated that the Contract period will be for three (3) years with UNAMA’s sole option of the further extension for additional period of “one plus one” (1+1) years. The duration of the contract shall always be a subject for continuation in conjunction to UNAMA’s mandate, the availability of funds, and the satisfactory performance of the contractor. Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time.
