UNCDF is looking for a partner organization/(s) to enhance digital and financial competencies of the people of remote communities, families of the migrant workers, people with disabilities, women-led MSMEs, and informal business owners in Samoa.​ The core activities will be to provide digital financial literacy training and awareness, and increasing the usage of digital financial services (DFS) to the rural communities in the Samoa, with a focus on women, people with disability and small businesses. The organization/firm/company will be tasked to develop the following activities. 1.                   Creating comprehensive training & promotional materials aimed at boosting the digital financial literacy and overall competencies of Samoans. Activities will include stakeholder engagements and need assessments of targeted segments for the customization of training modules. Additionally, materials will be developed to equip trainers for effective implementation. 2.                   Establish opinion leaders, merchants and DFS agents across 3 islands which are rural Upolu, Savaii and Manono-Tai  3.                   Pilot the curriculum to women, persons with disability and MSME across 3 islands which are rural Upolu, Savaii and Manono-Tai 4.                   Embed innovative and cost-effective channels for delivering financial literacy 5.                   Hold discussions with FSPs to make the case for developing a digital financial product targeting women, persons with disability and MSMEs The activities should result in:1.       Training modules developed for the targeted segments including the following modules: increasing financial literacy, financial competency and digital financial literacy for better understanding of DFS; registering, accessing and using DFS, the benefits of using DFS; cyber security and fraud risk mitigation and train the trainer modules and materials2.       2 innovative cost-effective channels for delivering digital financial literacy 3.       At least 5,000 people trained (of whom 50% should be women) UNCDF Procurement Unit
