The WFP Country Office in Nepal seeks to purchase High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure to enhance the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM)’s capacity for processing large datasets and generating accurate forecasts using multi-physics-based Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) models. A dedicated server will be installed at DHM to support this initiative. WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the requested goods/services, through this process WFP will identify and shortlist potential companies to be included in pre-qualified vendor list and eligible to participate in upcoming tender.
