Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is seeking an individual to work as an External Collaborator. The International Consultant will support the Government of Burundi and the ILO in implementing the Skills for Trade and Economic Diversification (STED) methodology under the PEAPJF-Burundi Project, which aims to strengthen agro-pastoral value chains and enhance youth and women’s employability. The consultant will lead and coordinate national teams conducting STED diagnostics in three priority sectors, ensuring methodological consistency and technical quality. Key tasks include preparing an inception report with detailed workplans, tools, and quality assurance protocols; guiding data collection and analysis; and finalizing three sectoral diagnostic reports and Sector Skills Strategies with actionable implementation roadmaps. The consultant will also co-design and co-facilitate foresight, validation, and capacity-building workshops on the STED methodology with sector stakeholders and national counterparts. Throughout the assignment, close coordination with the ILO and government partners will be maintained to ensure alignment with project objectives and strengthen national capacity for skills anticipation. Please note that any required travel costs will be covered by the ILO.
