The ILO is seeking to contract a qualified consultant to conduct a support a review of the current labour legislation of Guyana. The work will entail desk review of the text of Guyanese labour legislation (except for OSH and maritime), and consulting stakeholders in Guyana. The result of the review is a technical report which will contain the result of desk review, the findings of stakeholder consultations and recommendations as to how the labour legislation of Guyana should be reformed. This report is expected to be a technical input to further consideration towards a possible reform of the labour legislation.
