UNICEF has now issued a Request for Proposals in order to select a supplier for the Rehabilitation of the premises in Ukraine for the “Water monitoring laboratory of the Eastern region of the Seversk-Donetsk Basin Water Resources Management” relocation to Poltava UNICEF Ukraine CO continues to support the continuity of essential WASH services in Ukraine amid the ongoing war and its impact on infrastructure and service delivery systems. Ensuring access to safe drinking water and maintaining water quality monitoring systems remain critical priorities, particularly in regions affected by hostilities and infrastructure disruptions. Reliable laboratory capacity plays an important role in monitoring water quality and ensuring that drinking water supplied to the population complies with safety standards. Due to the security situation in eastern Ukraine, the Water Monitoring Laboratory of the Eastern Region of the Siverskyi Donets Basin Water Resources Management, currently located in Sloviansk, requires relocation to a safer location. Within this UNICEF is supporting the relocation of the laboratory to Poltava. To enable the relocation and future operation of the laboratory, rehabilitation works are required in the premises of an administrative building designated to host the laboratory. Through this intervention, UNICEF aims to support the operational capacity of national water monitoring institutions and contribute to safeguarding the quality of drinking water supplied to the population. The target of this project is to rehabilitate premises of the administrative building for the laboratory relocation This tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system.
