The consulting firm is required to work with on boarded irrigation rice farmers (both smallholders and commercial farms) in the Volta, Greater Accra, Upper East, Northern, and Eastern Regions of Ghana under the Promotion of Climate Smart Agriculture for Sustainable Rice Production project which is based on the Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) technique. The consultant shall support the data recording (including image capture) of farm activities i.e. crop protection, water application, soil enhancement, etc., for the season October 2024 to March 2025.  The firm will also check with farmers for any previous data that was recorded but not yet transferred to the digital data system.
