Development and Operationalization of a Data Repository on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is at a crucial stage in its governance and development journey, following an economic crisis that underscored the need for greater transparency, accountability, and public engagement in decision-making processes. The crisis has prompted increased civic activism, with citizens demanding stronger oversight mechanisms and more inclusive governance structures. In response, the government has prioritized public sector efficiency, institutional integrity, and social cohesion, recognizing the need to rebuild trust between the state and citizens. However, limited public participation in governance, lack of structured civic engagement mechanisms, and gaps in institutional accountability continue to pose challenges to sustained democratic governance and equitable development. To address these challenges, UNDP Sri Lanka, under its SDG 16 portfolio (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), is implementing targeted interventions aimed at strengthening civic spaces, fostering participatory governance, and enhancing institutional accountability. These efforts are designed to enable civil society organizations (CSOs) to play a more active role in shaping policies, monitoring governance mechanisms, and advocating transparent decision-making processes.Under this initiative, UNDP Sri Lanka seeks to engage a qualified Service Provider to provide specialized technical expertise to design, operationalize, and manage a secure, ethical, and survivor-centered data capture and repository system on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) in Sri Lanka Objective; The objective of this assignment is to engage a Service Provider to provide specialized technical expertise to design, operationalize, and manage a secure, ethical, and survivor-centred data capture and repository system on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) in Sri Lanka.
