Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The selected consultant will work closely with the project team and key national stakeholders to support the implementation of integrated interventions aimed at combating child labour. This includes coordinating and overseeing the training of social workers under the Ministry of Social Solidarity (MOSS), supporting awareness-raising activities, capacity building of MOSS centers, and follow-up on the development of alternative night care facilities. The consultant will also support the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood in activating the national child labour monitoring system through coordination, case follow-up, and technical reviews. In collaboration with the Federation of Egyptian Industries, the consultant will contribute to finalizing and promoting a code of conduct on child labour, facilitating employer sensitization, apprenticeship opportunities, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Additionally, the consultant will coordinate the implementation of a sports training programme for children in El-Asmarat district and ensure effective engagement with partner NGOs through regular coordination, monitoring, reporting, and field follow-up to ensure alignment with project objectives and indicators.
