Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: SMEs in Sierra Leone face a major challenge in accessing trained and qualified business development support service providers. This is a result of the limited number of trained and qualified business development services providers available in the country. For the rapidly increasing number of small enterprises who cannot easily access skilled business development support services support/trainers, they either continue to resort to self-teaching themselves relevant basic business skills or solicit the services of close family or friends, who are often themselves not familiar with the very rudiments of small enterprise development and therefore can only do as much as they can. Working closely with partners including key institutions such as the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDA), Sierra Leone Chamber for Agribusiness Development (SLeCAD) and the Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (SLCCIA). Please note that if travel is required for this assignment, the necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
