Country: Ukraine   Project Name: Re-Envisioning Education Facilities in Ukraine: Rehabilitation and Repairs of War-Damaged Social Infrastructure  Title of assignment: National Consultant -Architect/Interior Designer   Duty Station: Kyiv (region), Ukraine, home-based.   Period of assignment/services: up to 3 months   The main objectives of the Consultant’s assignment are:Deliver Impactful and Sustainable Design Solutions·                Provide expertise in interior design, architecture, furniture selection, and usability to ensure compliance with international standards and guidelines, including Accessibility, HSE, Gender Mainstreaming, and Energy Efficiency.·                Align designs with the New School Concept guidelines and integrate modern, ergonomic, and durable solutions for educational settings.Enhance Collaboration and Community Engagement·                Foster strategic collaboration with project stakeholders, including engineers, local authorities, and school management, to address specific community needs.·                Present concepts and ideas effectively through 3D visualizations (2d drawings) stakeholder discussions, and participatory methodologies to ensure ownership and alignment. Drive Strategic Implementation and Advocacy·                Support the development, refinement, and replication of the Pilot School Project Concept through methodological guidance, procurement oversight, and compliance with sustainability criteria. ·                Advocate for the projects principles and objectives at all levels through networking, partnerships, and reporting on progress and outcomes.
