The Consultancy Firm is anticipated to work closely with the National Energy Efficiency Analyst responsible for the development of professional qualifications and skills in Energy Management and Energy Audit in Tanzania mainland. The team will work with the Ministry of Energy (MoE), Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT), Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organization (TIRDO), National Construction Council (NCC), National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) and Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA).In carrying out the above assignment, the consultant is expected to propose a detailed methodology for undertaking the assignment. However, the approach should include desk reviews, stakeholder consultations, focused group discussions, etc. To accomplish this, UNDP is seeking to procure the services of a competent consulting firm to Design and implement training program for certification of Energy Efficiency professionals, including development of equipment use capabilities, enhancement of training capabilities and setting up of a professional register/database.Interested firms are encouraged to submit bids related to Design and implement training program for certification of Energy Efficiency professionals.
