WHO is seeking a qualified, eligible and competent proposer for the  Provision of English-Chinese (Mandarin) Translation and Revision Services for RCM 77 Documents. The Regional Committee for the Western Pacific serves as WHO's governing body in the Region, comprising representatives from the Region's 38 Member States and areas, along with Associate Members. Convening annually, the Regional Committee formulates policies, exercises oversight over regional programmes, reviews progress reports, and assesses, revises, and endorses new initiatives. Resolutions are adopted, and decisions are made to provide guidance for the upcoming year's work of the Regional Office and country offices. The seventy-seventh session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific is planned to take place from 19 to 23 October 2026, in Manila, Philippines. It will be held in-person, with representatives from Member States, senior WHO officials and core Secretariat members attending on-site. The Regional Committee Meeting (RCM) serves as a key occasion to gather high-level Member State representatives for in-depth discussions. To support the event, the Knowledge and Management Unit (KMU) is in need of an external supplier to translate documents between English to Chinese (Mandarin) languages. The supplier’s tasks will also include revising, formatting, and printing documents for the meeting, ensuring accurate conversion between these languages. The supplier should be available to work on-site in Manila during the event in October 2026, but most of the work can be done remotely.
