Below is a summary of the work to be performed: [The selected consultant will support the design and delivery of a Training of practitioners on RBC and the labour dimensions of due diligence in supply chain with focus on the textile and garment supply chain in Syria. The training is intended to equip participants to design and deliver follow-up activities that promote responsible business practices in Syrian supply chains. Key tasks will include the design of the training programmes through review and adaption (as needed) of existing ILO tools and training resources, developing case studies and exercises relevant to the Syrian textile and garment sector, and ensuring that all materials are prepared in both Arabic and English. The consultant will also be responsible for delivering the workshop in Damascus and providing a final report with recommendations for future training rollouts. The approach should balance training delivery with the development of sustainable tools that participants can apply in their daily work.
