Long Term Contract for Personal Protective equipment and related items for UNGSC, Brindisi, ITALY

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified supplier to establish a Long Term (LT) Contract for the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and related items to be delivered DAP UNGSC, Brindisi-Italy (INCOTERMS 2010). The Long Term Contract will allow UNGSC to issue Purchase Orders (POs) on an “as and when required basis” during the period of the contract. It should be noted that the UN cannot guarantee any minimum quantities for supply. Below is an indicative list of the items/product categories to be supplied under the resulting System Contract:  Medical apparel and textiles  Safety apparel (coveralls, bibs, high visibility vests, gloves)  Safety footwear  Face/head/vision protections and accessories  Hearing and respiratory protections  Slacks, trousers and shorts  Shirts, sweaters, coats, jackets and clothing accessories  Uniforms  Boots. Full technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI. The resulting LT contract will be established for an initial period of two (2) years, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the contract term for three (3) additional periods of one (1) year each (2+1+1+1). All the offered products must be fully compliant with EU standards (European Union standards) or equivalent and marked with CE (Conformité Européenne) or EN markings or equivalent. All the products offered must comply with current safety rules and regulations, such as the Italian “Decreto Legislativo del 09 aprile 2008 – n. 81 E.S.M. (latest version D.L. 19/2024) and related updated versions or equivalent EU/International corresponding safety rules and regulations and must be made with high-quality rough materials. If they differ from the Italian safety rules, the vendor shall confirm the products’ compliance and conformity with the specific standard and indicate to which EU/International safety rules and regulations the offered products comply. Interested suppliers shall ensure the delivery of the items ordered within four (4) calendar weeks after receipt of the UNGSC Purchase Order. All items must be guaranteed by the Contractor for a minimum of 1 (one) year from the date of delivery and acceptance to the UN, following the standard manufacturer’s warranty conditions. ***IMPORTANT NOTE: The tender documents will be sent via e-tendering platform only to the email address(-es) registered in companies’ UNGM account. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the REOI and solicitation process.
