Better Work Viet Nam (BWV), a joint initiative of the ILO and IFC, is implementing its Gender Strategy for 2023–2027 to promote gender equality and inclusive workplaces in the garment and footwear sectors. As women make up about 70% of the workforce—many of whom are migrant workers with childcare responsibilities—BWV has developed a handbook to strengthen female workers’ knowledge and skills in early childhood care while balancing full-time factory work. In parallel, given the high occupational safety and health (OSH) risks in the industry, BWV supports factories in improving workplace safety and health conditions and promoting equality, including the inclusion of persons with disabilities. To support this effort, BWV has also created a handbook focused on building inclusive workplaces for people with disabilities. To effectively visualize key highlights of these handbooks, Better Work Viet Nam is seeking a professional consulting firm to produce a series of animated videos with Vietnamese voice-over and English subtitles with a maximum length of 5 minutes for each video. These videos will visualize the content with illustrations that focus on essential early childhood care practices and the inclusion of persons with disabilities across our work and activities, incorporating key highlights from both handbooks. The final deliverables will consist of a series of approximately 2 - 4 animated videos in total, subject to further discussion and agreement with the BWV team. The proposed structure includes: Video(s) covering the key chapters of the Early Childhood Care handbook Video(s) covering the key chapters of the Disability Inclusion handbook These videos will serve as an effective tool that Better Work participating factories can use alongside the handbooks to educate their workers, thereby enhancing the overall impact of the handbooks.
