The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the design, provision, installation and maintenance of a centrally managed Door Access System for UNFICYP, on an “as and when required” basis. 1. The resulting Contract(s) shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. 2. UNFICYP existing island-wide Door Access System infrastructure consists of multiple installations, mainly in Blue Beret Camp (BBC) in the United Nations Protected Area (UNPA) in Nicosia, across various buildings. The main elements of the required services are detailed below: - verification and testing of Door Access System infrastructure components; - terminating of DSA cabling (fibre and copper); - installation or upgrade of Door Access System cabling; - installation or upgrade of infrastructure equipment; - preventative maintenance of the Door Access System; - installation of wireless connectivity equipment; and - preventative maintenance and repairs of ID Printers. 3. Interested vendors shall have five (5) years' experience with Door Access System installation projects/contracts in the same or higher value and technical complexity. 4. Interested vendors shall have the opportunity to attend the site visit, as part of the solicitation exercise. 5. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above. Women-owned and disability-inclusive suppliers are strongly encouraged to express interest. 6. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. Please note that Vendors have to be registered at Level 1 at the time of the award. 8. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI.
