UNITED NATIONS CHILDREN'S FUND (UNICEF)  REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST    Date of Request for Expression of Interest (REoI): 20 October 2025  Closing date for receipt of Expression of Interest (EoI): 30 October 2025  Reference: Vacuum Extractors for Obstetric Delivery    Description of Requirements    UNICEF Supply Division is requesting Expressions of Interest from eligible manufacturers and suppliers in preparation for a planned solicitation exercise to establish Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) for the supply of Vacuum Extractors to facilitate assisted obstetric delivery.     Potential Suppliers    This REoI is addressed to manufacturers and suppliers with experience in sourcing, manufacturing, or supplying medical equipment.    Only suppliers and manufacturers with a Quality Management System in conformity with at least one of the following standards are invited to express interest:      Manufacturers: ISO 13485   Suppliers: ISO 9001 or ISO 13485     Only products with at least one of the following pre-market approvals / market clearances will be considered in the planned solicitation exercise:     (a)   European Union: CE marking under applicable EU medical device regulations;  (b)   USA: Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance;  (c)   Canada: Health Canada approval;  (d)   Japan: Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) approval;  (e)   Australia: Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approval.     Products offered under the planned solicitation must also be supported by clinical studies demonstrating safety and efficacy. Suppliers should be aware that evidence of such studies will be required at the solicitation stage as part of the technical evaluation.    The Expressions of Interest (EoI) received will be reviewed and screened based on the information provided.
