The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), intends to pre-qualify a group of organizations in a timely manner, and potentially solicit proposals from them shortly thereafter. The services/outputs being sourced are: Support the strategic planning and institutional capacity development of farmer based organizations and cooperatives to strengthen their ability to access, manage, and utilize productive inputs required for sustainable rice production in Dong Thap, An Giang, Can Tho and Vinh Long of the Mekong Delta. This includes enhancing financial management, internal control systems, governance, and business planning capacities.   Deliver training programmes for farmers, cooperatives, and other rice value chain actors on the identification, assessment, and development of green value chain opportunities covering climate resilience, environmental sustainability, resource efficiency, and emissions reduction that promote environmental sustainability and economic resilience.
