The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites eligible non-profit, intergovernmental, and governmental organizations to submit proposals for the establishment of a Forestry Advisory Network (FAN) in Ukraine. This initiative, under project TCP/UKR/3902, aims to support evidence-based policymaking and alignment with EU forest-related regulations, including the EU Green Deal and the Regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR). The FAN will serve as a platform for multi-stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and legislative review in the forestry sector. The selected service provider will be responsible for setting up and managing the FAN, facilitating consultations, supporting legislative alignment, and producing key strategic and technical documents. The deadline for proposal submission is 25 July 2025, 18:00 Kyiv time. This opportunity is part of FAO’s broader effort to strengthen sustainable forest governance and institutional resilience in Ukraine as it advances toward EU accession.
