ProcureProcess - ILO Cambodia Non Governmental 2025-03-07 to 2025-03-13
Background Better Work is a partnership between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Better Work unites governments, employers' and workers' organizations, global brands, factory owners and workers to improve working conditions in the global apparel and footwear industry and make the sector more competitive. Support from and collaboration with key development partners over the years has provided Better Work with important guidance and resources to support them in their efforts to promote better working conditions in the garment sector. Through these collective efforts, Better Work seeks to influence actors in the sector to work together to improve working conditions and support a competitive garment sector globally. In this regard, Better Work Global is organizing a field visit for current and prospective Better Work donors to Cambodia. As its oldest and one of the largest country programmes, Cambodia has been selected as the location for the first donor group meeting of 2025 which would be combined with visits to Better Factories Cambodia’s operations. Visiting projects is one important way for donors to connect to the Better Work programme. A field visit gives donors the opportunity to see the impact of their funding on the ground and to assure themselves that their funding has the intended effect and is measured in the right way. It also gives participants a unique chance to experience Better Work’s activities firsthand and to help them gain an understanding of the potential for creating change and for donors to be part of that change. A donor field trip can therefore be seen as complementary to donor meetings, reports, evaluations and impact assessment studies. For existing donors on the one hand, this represents an opportunity to deepen their knowledge on Better Work and to understand certain issues more deeply by seeing the local context, engaging with practitioners, and by meeting with the people who are most directly affected. The purpose of this consultancy is to document the donor field visit through professional photography and videography. The consultant will be responsible for capturing key moments, interactions, and activities, as well as producing a collection of high-quality visual materials for Better Work’s communication and reporting purposes. Objective The primary objective of this assignment is to produce and capture high-quality footage—both videos and photographs—that effectively highlights the visit of Better Work’s partners. This visual content should document key moments, interactions, and behind-the-scenes activities during the visit. It will be used for promotional materials, digital platforms, and internal reporting to demonstrate the visit’s impact and to strengthen global engagement. This work would be carried out from March to April 2025. Scope of work and deliverables Under the supervision of BFC, the consultant/firm will be responsible for the following: Develop a shot list of the 1 day visit (on 27th) that includes planned key moments (e.g., factory arrival/tour, presentations, interactions, and networking session). On-site execution Capture a range of footage including, but not limited to, high-resolution photos, b-rolls footages, and dynamic shots of key activities.
