ITC seeks to contract training institutions, industry associations, and private companies with a presence in Sierra Leone to deliver digital skills training programmes that will equip youth with technical and vocational skills aligned with labour market demand. The SkYE Fund is a results-based competitive funding mechanism designed to incentivize high-quality training that responds directly to employer needs and market opportunities. Its objective is to support training providers that can demonstrate strong employment outcomes by preparing youth for existing jobs or enabling them to successfully pursue self-employment. Training programmes supported under the SkYE Fund must address identified skills shortages and lead to sustainable employment or the establishment of viable small businesses. Only programmes targeting youth aged 15–35 years and implemented in one or more of the following districts will be considered for funding: Freetown Area (Western Urban), Western Rural, Bo, Bombali, and Tonkolili.
